We are delighted to announce that version 1.1 of wingman is online. Below you will find an overview of the most important new features and improvements in wingman 1.1.
Around 4 months have already passed since the launch of wingman. During this time, we have gained many users, received valuable feedback and of course immediately started working on a new version. This is now online and brings numerous new functions and many small and large improvements for all users, so that wingman can help you even better.
New features
- You can now directly edit your flight geography on the SORA map in order to avoid high risk areas and therefore optimize GRC and ARC
- When flying BVLOS, wingman will tell you which TMPR requirements you have to fulfill and give you an option to provide a declaration
- You can now upload official authority notices for each SORA and manage your SORA status (Approved; Rejected)
- When looking at a hexagon of your flightplan, you will now see the max. ground elevation for that cell to better understand the surface on the ground
- On ConOps page in SORA, there is now the option to download an Operations Manual Example from EASA as a reference

Improvements
- We have improved the usability of the Risk Visualization Map
- When viewing SORA Flightplans on the map, you can now adjust the altitude setting to view how airspaces change in different altitudes
- When opening a SORA from the list, available actions are now clustered in two dropdown buttons under “View” and “Manage” for better overview
- The serial number is now displayed in the asset management overview table to better differentiate between assets
- Various small improvements on the user interface to make it more appealing
We are already working on further useful features to deliver additional value to you with the next release. If you have feedback for us, please reach out.
