Our risk map is at the heart of wingman – it combines current data on ground and air risks with your input and visualises the risk of your flight in a granular but clear format.
This allows you to quickly identify risks, make adjustments to your flight plan via wingman and calculate the new risk class.
Visualising risk along the flight plan
wingman displays the area in and around your flight zone in the form of hexagons with a diameter of 100 metres. Based on a colour scale, you can see at a glance which areas of the flight pose a higher risk. You can also view ground and air risks separately.
Flexibly select and deselect map layers
The map allows for comprehensive analysis by displaying additional layers such as obstacles, POIs or model and gliding areas. On the ground, a distinction is also made between populated and urban areas. In the air, the visualisation of airspace responds flexibly to the set altitude setting.
Adjust flight schedule
If your drone mission allows it, you can then flexibly adjust the flight plan directly in wingman to avoid high-risk zones. With just a few clicks, you can set the new take-off, landing and pilot positions and, after confirmation, immediately receive the new risk rating.
