Step by step, wingman helps you enter all the necessary information about flight parameters and times, altitude and speed.
You can either draw the flight plan directly in wingman or upload it as a file. You can easily assign the drone used, including its technical data, from the equipment pool. In a matter of seconds, you will receive your risk classes according to the SORA method.
After a pre-evaluation, the first step in SORA is your Concept of Operations. This is usually provided as a separate document and can be uploaded at this stage. You can also provide various declarative details about your flight, such as Controlled Ground Area or Atypical Airspace.
An important step in this process is selecting the drone(s). These can be easily selected and assigned from your previously created equipment pool. The technical data of the drone is then automatically transferred for risk calculation.
In the next step, you can specify whether you want to fly during the day and/or at night and define important characteristics of your flight, such as maximum altitude or maximum planned speed. Wingman helps you calculate the contingency area and ground risk buffer with automatic calculations, saving you a lot of time and effort.
Based on your information and flight plan, our Risk Engine automatically calculates the initial SAIL, consisting of ground risk and air risk. Wingman follows the SORA 2.0 method in detail, which is currently also used by the relevant authorities. From here, you can view details about the risk along the flight plan by navigating to the map. You can also declare various mitigations, the effects of which are also automatically calculated according to the SORA method.
